The 2025 season will finally begin!
In preparation for the resumption of the tour, we went on a route confirmation ride for this season, feeling the spring air in Nikko. This time, we started from Akanuma, and confirmed the route to Senjogahara, Yudaki falls, Ryuzu falls, Boat House, Odashiro-ga-hara, and Senju-ga-hama beach.
The ride was unusually pleasant with spring weather, and just being in the quiet forest was enough to calm my heart. Yudaki Falls was as powerful as ever, with the melting snow flowing down the falls with great force. The Ryuzu Falls are also very powerful. On the way to Odashiro-ga-hara, a white birch called "lady" stood quietly in the lingering snow.
Each time we visit Oku-Nikko, we are greeted by a different expression of nature. We highly recommend visiting Oku-Nikko at this time of year when fresh green leaves begin to sprout.
